BrickNest is a responsive, user-focused real estate website developed for a growing Dubai-based agency. The goal was to create a scalable, lead-generating digital platform that simplified property search while reinforcing the brand’s trustworthiness and premium identity.

Challenge

The client had a static, outdated website that wasn’t optimized for mobile, lacked modern UX patterns, and failed to generate consistent leads. Their biggest frustration: users were visiting the site but not engaging with listings or contacting agents.

Background

Dubai’s real estate market is fast-moving and highly competitive. Buyers are often browsing listings on mobile, seeking quick filters, instant inquiry options, and a sense of brand credibility. The existing BrickNest platform was not keeping up with these demands.

Our UX process followed a human-centered design approach:

Research & Planning

We conducted interviews and surveys with:

  • First-time buyers

  • Property investors

  • Agents and admin staff

Key insights:

  • Users felt overwhelmed with cluttered listing pages

  • Most browsed properties from mobile (70%+)

  • Contacting an agent felt unclear or delayed

  • Filters needed to be smarter, not just broader

We benchmarked leading property platforms in the UAE and globally. Most lacked emotional design and felt transactional. We aimed to differentiate BrickNest through usability and brand trust.

Design & Prototyping

UX Priorities:

  • Smart filtering (by area, price, property type)

  • Clean CTAs like “Book a Visit” and “Send Inquiry”

  • WhatsApp integration for instant communication

  • Highlighting featured listings & agent bios

Mobile-First Focus:

  • Simplified property cards with thumb-friendly actions

  • Swipe navigation

  • Sticky contact buttons

UI Design Direction:

Inspired by luxury brands — clean whitespace, elegant typography, neutral tones, and soft shadows. Custom icons and consistent layout grids were used to ensure visual clarity.

Testing & Optimization

Once tested, the site was developed using lightweight responsive code with backend CMS for property management. WhatsApp, Google Analytics, and a lead capture system were integrated.

Implementation

After finalizing the design, I worked closely with developers to ensure the design was implemented accurately. This included making sure the website was responsive, intuitive, and functional across various devices and screen sizes.
